Also, maybe we can use TNT to speed up Ventus's quarry? With Naru's permission of course. Most of the sandstone has been dug out I believe.

True, although Bla probably wouldn't let us use it anyway.

I'm against using TNT for mining, but you could set up a poll.
I think it's a waste of sand and a waste of the resources you're mining with it, because of the 70% loss of blocks.

Still though, TNT placed in the wrong place could blast a hole in the side walls or go past the y=50 point.

Hey Naru, is the southern wall of the quarry supposed to be at -196? It wasn't clear whether you wanted it to be dug to where its under the border wall or on the inside of it (which is why I went on the inside of it when I dug in the eastern section).

*Blanoxious Blanoxiums hide in a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, green box. Filled with sandstone which fits suspiciously well into the quarry.*

As in exploded or simply razing the buildings and digging underground to make a new base (or rather an extension of the current one).

Bla, in looking around for hints on how to fix the strange issue, I came accross something similar. http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/chdistantfarm-grows-your-plants/tickets/3-crops-in-world-are-not-growing/

Edit: http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/chdistantfarm-grows-your-plants/tickets/13-farm-not-growing-at-rate-set/ This one has me thinking that maybe the minecarts are interefering with it? The only problem is that rolling minecarts, like CHdistantfarm, keeps chunks loaded, so I don't know for sure. Only one way to find out for sure.

Heres what I think might be causing it to bug out, I have some cargo carts in the cargo rail floor on the rails themselves, so it's an easy one to test. Fixing this would be easy, just either store the carts+chests when I'm not using them or move the rails down so that the affected chunk isn't also being used by the farm.

Edit: YES! That worked. Now to 'break' it again to confirm for sure that leaving the carts on the tracks is what's doing it.

Edit3: Huh, I can't seem to 'break' it again, so maybe it was just stuck/confused and removing the carts allowed it to get unstuck. In any case, the problem has been solved since the patch I planted has grown, other than a few stubborn ones which haven't quite fully matured.

If you see large patches of soulsand missing in the nether, it's me mining. It should be near Bongatar, but distance travels faster in the nether so it might reach spawn.

Making a super-extra-large nether wart farm but cant tell you why yet.

Crazy graphical error, what the O.o

I was putting some raw steaks into the furnaces and this happened. It happened a few more times, not sure if its me or a server glitch what with the whole mass of cows in the mob farm close by.

Had to do a relog to make it go away and theres really nothing new revealed there anyway.

Anyhow.... heres some thick cow biomass for a second pic.

If you have Optifine installed... I'm almost certain that's what's causing it. I removed it because everything kept glitching like that.
But I don't think it's a good idea to post a picture of things which shouldn't be visible.

It's mostly the mines and pretty much everything except whatever is in the far distance and what looks like one of those just below the surface caves that are all over the desert, is revealed anyway.

I do have optifine installed, but that's because I need it to deal with the lag and I normally don't have it glitch out like that. I think its lag related.

wut

Doesn't matter, the picture makes things visible which shouldn't be visible because of a glitch, like an x-ray texture pack. Whether it reveals diamonds or epic caves or not really much I don't think it should be public. Someone else might exploit the glitch before I get there!

I do have optifine installed, but that's because I need it to deal with the lag and I normally don't have it glitch out like that. I think its lag related.
Ok, I have had the exact same glitch happen dozens of times pr. minute though when I had Optifine installed, and uninstalling it instantly solved the problem. I also have lag spikes and unstable FPS, still less annoying than this problem though. But I'm almost certain it's Optifine and not "lag". It also appears to be related to rendering the world failing, not actual missing chunks which you would expect from lag. Rendering the world is done by the client entirely.
