Anybody else feel like we should transplant all our structures to a new world? The biome changes are so big, but any new ones will be far from claimed lands.
This will never happen. The world would be 100% destroyed by this because the landscape on the chunks won't align, and all infrastructure between the areas would be destroyed.
Or at least crop as close as possible to territorial edges since everything will change. Might have to sacrifice a few outlying structures.
The map will be cropped as close to developed areas as possible, but it's hard to determine where to crop when a lot of members are hard to contact because they don't use the forums and might not be online in-game.
I don't mind if my embassy thing by rocksolids (that was his name right?) place gets cropped, but what are we going to do about the fact that he has a structure there?
I don't know where this.
Also, we should either preserve one of the mushroom islands just in case or we harvest some mycelium from one.
Even if we destroy mushroom islands, new ones will probably generate in the same space.
I am aware of the logistics and problems of transplanting buildings across world generations. If it were easy, it would have been done on blacraft already.
The pre-1.7 (beta) biomes will never generate again, those are now unique biomes. I like the fact that we preserved them.
