oh. Well then i don't think there should be any restrictions on that besides that it shouldn't harm someone and it should be within that person's region.

But then people could make the walls out of gravel, dirt, random holes and diamond blocks in the most ugly pattern imaginable. :P
And wouldn't it be pretty cool to have a consistent design with regional varieties? Imo it's be much more awesome than just making whatever you think looks nice and ignoring the bigger picture.
And the area above the first three blocks still allow you to be very creative.

Diamond blocks? I bet only Spawntown would be allowed to use that kind of bling for decoration.

Sounds like something we should put up for voting, with different options.

i prefer a combination of cobblestone, gravel, sand, dirt, and random pieces of lapis lying around as decoration :)

Wierd, a computer crash (well, the game froze up at the same time as the computer) somehow reset my achievements, has anybody had that happen? Everything else is fine though.

Hey guys, guess what I found in the caverns onder the swamps, a gold music disk.

Also, this cave (entrance is at -884, 1204) is epic on the same scale as the triple ravine and while there is at least one ravine, there is one or two huge natural chambers, it just feels like something that requires a team to explore fully. I've explored a good part of it, but I don't know how fully I've explored the abandoned mine, let alone the chambers and ravines.

Heck, the sight of the whole thing would be worth the trip.

I've gotta go in an hour and a half though.

Actually, I've got more like an hour since I have to be ready by 11:30 (local time).

Just wondering how often do you guys enchant stuff? I'm making an enchantment hut, just need to harvest a little over a full stack of sugarcane from Mudkipz farm (if he doesn't mind). The two diamonds are from a dungeon.

I have a zombie dungeon close to the surface (in the oasis area), which I'm planning on making into a zombie farm sometime.

Not very often, I usually try to get to level 30 or something.

But the level system gives me paradoxical feelings about enchanting, which annoys me. :P

That if I spent 4 levels for some enchantment when I'm level 30, I've spent a lot more time on getting those levels than if I spent those level when I was level 10. So I will have to spend all of my levels on an enchantment before it feels like it's really worth it. But I still don't really like just throwing all my levels on a single item, like a sword.

You get a lot of enchantments if you reach level 50. And there's ways to make experience farms; you could make one with the Blatown Mobster Trap or whatever it's called by modifying it a bit.

Monster Factory you mean. It'll have to wait until Bukkit updates to 1.2.3 since there have been some AI changes in the mobs that could render the monster factory broken.

In fact, I'm not sure if I should wait for Bukkit 1.2.3 before making an xp farm out of that zombie spawner.

Edit: I miscalculated and made 12 instead of maybe 30, but its fine for now

A way around it could be to have an enchantment table right next to an xp farm, tricky, but not impossible.

Looks like the armor ones such as feather fall, respiration and aqua affinity are probably more useful.

Especially feather fall when we get planes, maybe... unless we get parachutes as well.

You can use it on any material, even leather I believe, even though that would be a hell of a waste of a good enchantment on such a poor durability material.
