There could be an ability to have hurricanes form if the planet has an atmosphere, which can decay and form randomly. You are able to paint the landscape of the planet with albedo, creating a climate effect, which can also be for the hurricane formation thing.

This is an interesting concept, but it would use a huge amount of resources and CPU. And, by huge I mean, REALLY HUGE. You would require a decent supercomputer to run this smoothly. You don't want the developers we all know and love to work 24/7 for a considerable amount of months just to implement this small feature, right? We almost sacrificed the devs only for Roche limit.
