Wtf did I create?! (bug?)

I placed a crab pulsar and added a magnetic field. Then I orbited a sirius B pulsar around it.
When I deleted the crab pulsar, it left behind this beautiful blue cloud with sparkles.
I tried to recreate it on the same manner, but didn't succeed, so I guess it is a bug.
Also I couldn't click on the cloud, so it wasn't registered as an object.
