Explanation Method #1:
The number of points available increases with each unique poster, but the number of points is reset when someone from the previous line of unique posters posts again, and everyone in that string of unique posters who did not post again loses one point.
the unique posters are also reset
the number of points awarded is that triangular number (ie for six different posters, you get 21 points)
Explanation Method #2:
It's like the post elapsation games, except with user posts instead of time. Points are awarded to whoever collects the posts, but it doesn't count as collecting the posts until they "finish" the collection by posting to their own post chain.
Explanation Method #3:
Allow people A, B, C, D, E, and F to exist. When they post in a chain as such: ABCDEFA, this increases the number of possible points awarded to whoever from the chain posts again. When a person from the chain posts again, they are awarded points. As such, all of these example chains award points of equal amounts: ABCDEFB ABCDEFC ABCDEFD ABCDEFE
Explanation Method #4:
The condition for collecting points is when someone from the current chain of different users posts again. Then, their post which collected points becomes the start of a new chain.
My first post does not count. Go.
