Is there a way to lock the view towards an object

I want to watch the rise, transit, and setting of a planet from the surface of another planet. I can see the sky from a planet (C key), but I have to scan the sky and look for the other planet. Is there a way to lock my view on the other object?

Not currently, I don't think, but that sounds like a really cool idea! Besiege Alpha already has such a feature, so I think it would be really awesome to see that in US2 as well!
