Please stop asking when the next alpha will come out

It seems as though you all have an insatiable hunger for the next alpha. Every time a new version is released, a new thread about the next one will pop up in at least a few days, and so on and so forth.

Frankly, it adds nothing to the discussion and is borderline spam. Giant Army has said time and time again that there are no set release-dates, because if there were, projects would get rushed and you'd essentially be trading quality for quantity.

Be patient and play what you've got.

Seriously though, a lot of people that play this game are... young. It's great to see young people getting into science, that's always a good sign... unless they're dissecting living things to see how they work... But anyway, they do bring their usually short attention spans with them, and some of them will inevitably show off said attention spans here on the forums. It doesn't really hurt anything though, so I don't mind. Just don't click on "When's the next alpha?" threads.

tbh I just see a lot of the young people here just saying "I MADE A BIG BOOM-BOOM WITH CERES" and not really much science. Feel free to correct me with links, though.

Admittedly it is tempting to make a "when is the next alpha" thread for the sole purpose of irritating people on the forums.


Sometimes when people voice their irritation it makes me want to irritate them all the more. Luckily I have manged to show some restraint.

an interactive guide would do wonders for this game something to tell what everything is? or a wiki link like the first game
