How can I add a atmosphere to a planet that doesn't have one?

No, You must click the planet, then go to climate tab, Click the Atmosphere thingy if it's still 0.0, Change it to 1.00, Or 5.1E+18

look at what Earth has set in the climate tab and replicate it :) note that the results may vary depending of Your planet radius, temperature and mass
