Asteroid should melt in the atmosphere [Idea]

My suggestion is if the asteroid gets inside the atmosphere could melt and creates flames on itself.

That's basically just a re-entry. I think the devs said they have considerate the idea but won't come any time soon.

I don't think that the asteroids simulated in US2 are actually small enough to fully burn up, but yes, a small visual effect would be nice.

i would like it if they turn into bright balls of fire in mere seconds/minutes in the atmosphere, also some meteors or asteroids are not big enough to go through the atmosphere
