Univision Song Contest V

... It's that time of year!

Welcome back to the Univision Song Contest! This time around, we're in Saelunavvk, the capital and largest city of Solea. Last edition, Solea won the contest with Owl City's song, Gold. The BBC of Wyverncliff mentioned the potential for a change in scenery, and you definitely got it! What's in store for you, our viewers and participants, here in Solea? And where will we go next? That's up to you, Universalis.

The Soleani National Broadcast Network and the Univision Broadcasting Union are working jointly together to run the contest throughout this edition. Submit your entries to atomic7732 via PM, by Friday, October 10 at 00:00 UTC (Thursday, 20:00 EDT).

The Univision V stream/synchtube will be live October 12, 19:00 UTC (15:00 EDT).

Some rule changes that apply immediately even though atomic won't update the rules for a while:
- Removed the "Avoid vulgar songs", if I'm going to be honest..I want to send a really vulgar song and I don't really care about this now that the off-site jury is gone and the contest is well over a year old

- Reworded parts to allow for hosts other than me

Synchtube tomorrow?? It's a kind of short warning, I won't be home for most of tomorrow before around probably 20-21 UTC, I don't know who were asked or decided when it should be, but I would've liked it at another time, maybe moved to Sunday or 2-3 hours later on Saturday. So I don't really know if it can be moved or..
Maybe I can get home by 19 if it can't be moved hm

It can be moved to Sunday. Are there any objections to Sunday 19 UTC? I had intended to start a discussion of the stream time by posting the song order early, but I guess I skipped that part.

I can't find any info on when we did the other Synchtubes in relation to when the songs were released, but I remember talking about when it should be at least some days in advance, but this time I heard nothing about it and then seeing the time get posted the day before was a bit surprising. The important thing isn't really when the songs are released, but when you announce the time and if you let people discuss the time so we can get as many to watch as possible. I didn't know if that had been done.
