I've voted, but I do think the deadline was ridiculously early. W/e I know you wanted to present results on Saturday but this whole edition has seemed very brief.

Personally I'm fine with the deadline, I like not waiting too long for the results and I think I've voted 0-2 days after Synchtube in our editions, but if people have irl stuff that has obstructed them from voting I don't have a problem with extending the deadline.

Well me and yqt (well atomic too sorta) are used to having month long contests, as in they start on the first of each month and end on the last day with results. So this is really fast paced, I had no problems with voting but I know that after two weeks a lot of people still waited till the last day to vote. So...

I think it works a bit like homework. If you give people 3 days deadline most complete it the day before. If you give them 2 weeks they also complete the day before. I can understand giving people maybe a week or so, so most people can squeeze it in somewhere (in any case in the weekend) if they have a tight schedule, and if anyone needs more than that it's probably best to just talk to them and agree to set the deadline a bit past that.

Making videos with interviews on the songs and such was a cool idea and also presenting the results in a series of vids was a cool idea but I don't think dragging the voting out longer than necessary makes it better. It's nice to see the results while you can still remember the songs well.

Update: I'm going to try to have results ready for today (Saturday) around 22:00 UTC (18:00 EDT) but I'm not sure if they will be. If this is an inopportune time for a significant amount of people, we can reschedule it.

Let me explain what's going on to the masses. Apparently since Dar (and now atomic and yqt) think me gagnant (and possibly my brother) are the same person, here's what's going to happen:

Their penalties:
me and pm are banned for one year
gagnant will never be allowed to participate again
gagnants votes and songs will be disqualified


Here's what I am going to do:
Because fuck you guys, wyverncliff is dead.
I will be leaving this forum, because you guys are penalizing someone other than me for something you are not right about. I don't want to be involved with this anymore.

I am sorry that I invited two people to this contest, which barely had any people. If I could go back, I would not do that because of how stupid yqt and atomic are reacting.

Panda may come back, I can't influence his opinion. But just know, this is my last post on this forum. If it's possible I will delete my account, if not...I'll change my password to asdfhajksdfghasjfdhgasdf so I can't remember it.

Keep in mind YQT did not vote in time, but he will be allowed to vote because...He invented the contest and screw rules. But because me and gagnant vote similarly...nope DQ and banned from the contest. LOGIC!

Oh I did vote on time. Yqt didn't because he has college and is obsessed with hypixel server. Gagnant is an irl friend who I invited to take over shmupland after shmoopy disappeared. (or he's me created only to give me victories BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA)
