[Suggestion] Star materials change over time

I know the materials system for stars is broken right now, but I was thinking about having the materials in stars change. Like over time, hydrogen becomes iron (THere will probably be some intermediate materials, though), and by editing the materials you could change the stars properties like size and heat. This would also remove time being used as a way to fake that this happening

I would like to see this too. I tried monitoring the status of a star by looking at the materials, but it just grows and blows up while still being made of hydrogen.
