Planet's to make in UBox2 (by me or some else )
« on: July 10, 2014, 10:20:47 PM »
I've been racking my brain's out one what star system ill make and i have a few idea's but i want to know if they make sense realistically anyhow i plan to do the following: make a bluish-white star  larger then the sun with 4 asteroid  belts , 12 planet's (two of them harbor life and are terrestrial both larger then earth in the super earth category, the first one Ymir will be 30% larger then earth with 2 rings and 2 moon's i'm not sure if i want it to be (30% land or 30% water) it will have two sessions spring and summer now to Iziz this one is 9% bigger then earth and has 3 moon's it has basically  the same tilt as earth this one for sure will have 80% land and large icecap's the other planets i'm not sure on thats where you the community come in what should the other planet's be?

Interesting. Although, i think the sun is too dense to be true. Also systems with blue stars (or bluish or whitish or bluish whitish) can't support life because they don't live long enough to give life a chance to evolve.

This star system sounds fantastic, but you shouldn't have moons AND rings because the moons disrupt the rings if they are too close. If you're gonna have both, then either make the moons less mass, or far away from the rings. I don't have alpha, YET, but from playing US1, I can see that moons and rings don't like each other. I don't know if rings work differently in US2 though.

Red dwarfs are also less likely to have life, because their planets are tidally locked.

Even if one planet rotation sync  to it May host life. The planet must be just the right distance from the star. ;)

first:make a gas giant with an habitable moon . second:blue star cant support life. make a white one.
