I remember Dan said once in a thread that he is accepting ideas for a new logo. I can't find the thread so I decided to start another one.

I think it's better to keep the same saturn image, but change the background color. Black looks more waaay more modern than blue in this case. The quality of the image isn't that good but I could do better, this is just an idea. I've been thinking about add a metal reflection in it. To make it look more metallic and badass

Something brighter? That's why I suggested to add a metallic shine on it.

about adding a 2 in it... no. That's too cliche

I really think its better to use the same logo rather than something totally different and unrelated. The simpler the better

It won't be unrelated as long as it has something to do with space. Saturn isn't the only thing to do with this game.

I had a nice concept, but it didn't come out well here
My idea for the Ubox 3 logo is a galaxy with a dark backround, maybe dark blue or purple.

that might not work, colliding planets often have a lot of details too look cool, and they might have fire and tiny pieces flying everywhere. dan needs a simple logo that can work on black and white

Hmmm... Possibly a cursor hovering over a fictional earth-like planet? I don't know, I don't like that idea myself. But who cares about the logo? It's the game that's awesome! I haven't seen such detail elaboration since Spore!

Just a question: is your icon image a glow-in-the-dark squeaky toy, or is it a mechanical eye/door/ something like that? No offence intended whatsoever. I get confused with small, simple images. They drive me nuts.

Perhaps a graph next to a planet? I don't think many people care about the logo anymore, just the new alpha. But hey, we've only got a few months to wait! But maybe Dan should change the logo.

P.S. I never imagined Dan with a beard. He looks like my computers teacher! Which is a little too coincedintal....

You could do Anthony's profile pic for a logo. It is similar to the original but looks cooler.

Thanks, Xriqxa. I changed it to something that looks better than what you saw. I made a few in Photoshop. I'll make a new post to display them.
