So I'm just going to flat out say it right now; I think maybe we should think deeper about star spectral type. If we sfick with our K class star our years would be only ~230 days long compared to Earth's which I think is. . . Short. (Unless someone can convince me otherwise).Here's what I want to ask everyone: why a K star instead of a G2, an F9, or an M7 for the sake of example. Are there any benefits or reasons to go with a K star?
