So many habitable planets.
...and why did you create another thread for the exact same planets you had in another larger thread?

the first planet, is the lighting turned up too high or is it supposed to be that way,

the first planet, is the lighting turned up too high or is it supposed to be that way, I turned the lighting up to give the impression of a desert world near the inner edge of the habitable zone. I also put the water at the poles, realistically.

So community, what do you want to see in the next update? More habitable planets? More Moon-like planets? More martian worlds? More gas giants? Custom star textures?

FiahOwl founded the Republic of Fiahus in 2014. He made it a democratic dictatorship so as to rule for as long as possible, and to found the nation on a solid foundation. He began by creating a set of code, also knows as laws, heavily inspired by the United States' federal laws and amendments. However, he heavily expanded upon it, creating a massive system of code that took three years until 2017. During 2017, he set out to strengthen its relations with the falling United States, creating a mutual relationship with the dying country. After another year, he had finished finding suitable people to fill the rest of the government and began the nation as a serious business among the world. It would grow to become the most powerful trading nation Western North America had ever seen, besides the once world power United States.

wtf? That does sound a bit interesting IMO though. (Can we call it the Aeridani State Union?)

I don't know.. The pole pinching looks like very strong magnetic attractions or something. Unless I create the texture on a sphere, pole pinching will usually be a problem.

I must admit that even if I do not use custom textures, I did use one of Fiah's icy planets from the other thread. Once Dan gave us the temperature simulation I was really curious to find out an approximate temperature for a planet orbiting on the outer edge of a habitable zone. And once that temp was around 0 Celcius I decided to use an icy texture for it. I was also imagining how an earth like planet would be if it was tidal locked to the sun. An earth on which the inhabitants would be forced to live mostly on the sunny side to survive. Yes, there would be no night time and no night clubs ( ) but still... Still looking for a texture to materialize my imagination.

Could you make an ice planet texture for a slightly larger than earth planet that has an average temperature of -126 F? There is the fiahtexta 27 and 39, but a frozen planet would probably have fewer clouds and I want something different than just icemars. And those two look bluish rather than white.

If you have Photoshop or Paint.NET you can easily do this by increasing the lightness and decreasing the saturation.

The first one looks like it survived being immolated by it's suns atmosphere when it went through the red giant phase. Or at least a cooling protoplanet which is still too hot for oceans to form just yet.

Sneak Peak.
And yes, planets covered in glaciers are not that must different from a white ball. Trust me, they are unique.
