2011 QF99 the First Uranus Trojan
« on: April 11, 2013, 01:04:06 PM »
The Minor Planet Center reports (MPEC 2013-F19) the discover of what looks like the first Uranus Trojan asteroid, they are called 2011 QF99. I used the function Rotating Frame in US2 to simulate your movement relative to the planet.

I will try to run the simulation over a million years to know if the orbit is stable or if it is a temporary condition.

I post the result here soon.

The file of the simulation are attached

This is very cool...

Ahhh... the rotating frame function in US2, something that I started working on and never completed, but really great for showing off the relationship of the asteroid to Uranus.
