Those latitudes are predisposed to having many forests, due to their low evaporation rates and the polar front being present between about 40 to 60 degrees north and south, which covers the majority of Blaland. The only area you might have any qualms about would be the far south, which is likely to have twisted forests further from the shore and tundra on the shore.
Anyway, that might be a bit too far south, although the further north it goes the drier the north gets.
