i dunno there can't be one, there's no elevation because much of it would need to be redone - by you probably

also those latitudes are much wetter as a rule - not as some fluke of thermodynamics

The old elevation can be used in the simulation, just moved to the new position, as it would most likely be similar.

I can't really settle on where the country should be if I don't know what the climate would be like. I don't want to redo everything, then someone finds I can't have forests or some other biomes in the most important areas, and then have to redo it all over again.

Those latitudes are predisposed to having many forests, due to their low evaporation rates and the polar front being present between about 40 to 60 degrees north and south, which covers the majority of Blaland. The only area you might have any qualms about would be the far south, which is likely to have twisted forests further from the shore and tundra on the shore.

Anyway, that might be a bit too far south, although the further north it goes the drier the north gets.

I already explained my view on them. I don't trust them to ever become perfect and I think you can always refine them to become more reliable. Are you up to another argument now? As a compromise I offered to consider moving it. Be happy?? It's a big amount of work I'm offering to consider redoing here. I'm growing increasingly tired of this community if this has to be an argument clinic every day.

I suggest doing an estimate where the country is a bit further north. It's ok if the north fringes have a bit desert, especially if it means less tundra in the south. If the western mountains are responsible for drying the center a lot, those can also be reconsidered.
