Crashes when trying to add a model

When i try to make, for example, earth, a model, such as apollo.3ds, it always crashes every single time. Ive restarted my computer, and even tried a different file. Can someone please tell me why, or what i can do to fix it?

It's an Experimental Feature that contains lots of bugs and shouldn't be used until at least UBOX3.
