anyway we should take that stats off of nstracker for nationstates which is a pretty awesome site, instead of just boasting bigger and bigger numbers

using this Aeridani would have a GPD of about 92 billion.

Also keep in mind of the exchange rate. I assume gpd will be converted into USD.
GPD:

Aeridani: $92,713,769,461.71 (~$93 billion)
Starrie: $3,257,714,696,152.14 (~$3,258 billion)
Solea and Rift Auspikitan: 90,266,615,262.23 (~$90 billion)

GPD of
Skirtasia: 22.4 trillion
TUPS: 96.5 trillion

kol, 1 nation in TUPS has more than 50% of it's gpd

but you decide your science.

Show me your formula and that you aren't just adding 5 trillion to 6 trillion to get 11 trillion as a result

my nation uses information that i decide and puts it into a calculator to get an accurate representation. This whole this is a game!

Boasting bigger numbers? MY nation is based off of science, and the GDP doesn't grow by a trillion every month. MY nation is calculated realistically, so I don't gain 3 million people every day. MY nation uses real information, so I can get a more accurate everything.

YOU can base YOUR nation off a game, but I'm keeping mine semi-realistic.
Because expanding your nation to twice the size every five days is any more realistic.

Fiah, the problem I see is, that yes, that's the GDP of those areas on Earth currently, but those GDPs are the result of the current and past economic policies of the governments and the history of those areas on Earth. The whole point of having a nationstate is to make your own country with your own policies, which means that you can't base your GDP off the real-life territories.
Plus, there doesn't seem to be any sense of time in the game. Your nation just grows in population and changes over time depending on your policies, and exists in a modern context, but only some of the things in the game follow time, others (like technology) don't.

I don't think any way of calculating the GDPs of a fictive nation can claim to be realistic. Even if you had all those policy options, they would give different results in different places, depending on the history of your country, what natural resources it has available, its culture and mentalities...

Um, I can get it semi-realistic.. Pretty accurate, for that matter.
I agree that you can keep it realistic, but only in a very short period of time after you take control of the territories (because then it would be very similar to the existing GDP). Anything beyond that is pretty much pure guessing, otherwise I'd really like to know what you base the numbers on. :P
Considering yours is also a socialist state, some pretty big changes would be made to the economy as well (compared to the current one, which is capitalist), and surely that would affect GDP a lot.

And who said this has anything to do with nationstates?
Based on the fact that the nations you spoke of existed in NationStates, and the fact that you were talking about the NS calculator, I assumed you were talking about nationstates.

Mudkipz brought that up, so yeah, it was part of the discussion.
