Nope, its free to create a Wiki on Wikia.

OFFICIAL. Somebody who is not active claimed the URL and name for Universe Sandbox on wikia.

There's already this one: http://universesandbox.wikia.com/wiki/Universe_Sandbox_Wiki

It's not official, but anyone can edit it. I don't remember who made it, possibly Atomic. In any case people can still edit it, and I guess Dan could make it official if it becomes good.

Some lowlife is admin, so we can't change a lot of things since the lowlife isn't active. That's the problem.

MediaWiki.

It's what Minecraft uses, and it's really popular.

Wikia is pretty much the same. It just sets-up the whole MediaWiki for you, and hosts it on Wikia.

But the directory for wikia is taken. That's the problem.

Wikia uses a different underlying wiki software than MediaWiki.

Can't you just download the MediaWiki software and make wiki.universesandbox.com ? Of course, we would update the Wiki even though it's still on your server. I would love that!
