Worms and snails are hermaphrodites and reproduce sexually. Asexual reproduction is where the offspring comes from one parent and is genetically identical to the parent except for random mutations. The vast majority of cells in your body reproduce asexually - they duplicate.

Yeah to go a bit more into detail with your cells reproducing asexually: what pretty much happens is all the genetic information in the nucleus is split and duplicated and put back together. It then proceeds to go under Prophase, where the new duplicated chromosomes start to become visible. This is also where the Nuclear envelope breaks down. After that metaphase happens where the chromosomes line up across the center of the cell. Anaphase happens and the chromatids separate and move apart. Finally, during telophase, the nuclear envelope reforms and the nucleolus become visible. After mitosis, Cytokineses is where the cell itself divides into the two cells. While in an animal/human cell the cell membrane is drawn inwards until the cytoplasm is squished into 2 parts. Where in plant cells a cell plate forms between the two nuclei because the cell membrane isn't flexible enough.

I am thinking about making some Fallout props this Christmas. I started on making Nuka-Cola bottle caps, and this is what I have so far. Yeah yeah I know, they're not that great.

My progress so far. I used red nail polish to paint the caps and acrylic nail polish to give it the glossy look. So far they are drying, so they should look better once they are done.
