Europe has nooks and stuff like italy,so i prefer it. But i guess North America isn't too bad. SE Asia is interesting too.

But dark yellow looks horrible, so it leaves me with this. And I want green in the flag, to represent "science" or maybe the environment in this Earthlier version.

I must also say that I think the first flag looks better than 2. And I don't really like the dark green, but I don't know what I could put instead. I think red rules out blue.

The yellow in the hammer and sickle is probably enough.

With a black part, I could add a Blastar as well. But what useful thing could black even symbolize...
