Game is unplayable due to bugs

I downloaded the steam download, but the game has a thousand and one bugs. It crashes on start up, lags, hits random errors, and most commonly, the textures glitch and flash random black shapes.

The game has now committed suicide and won't start, it simply comes up with a message saying it can not run.

What do I do?

I'm sorry you're having trouble. I'm releasing a fix for a few issues on Monday and another patch a couple days later. I'm going to keep working and releasing updates until the most common issues are resolved.
