Here is a Star Cruiser model that you can use in Universe Sandbox. Just place in your Universe Sandbox\Media folder.

Very nice! Thanks for sharing.

I found an online model of a satellite but I don't know which .x extension to use... E.g. Is it DirectX ASCII or DirectX Binary?

Good job! Did you make it yourself?

I used DirectX ASCII. I did not make the model, I just converted it for Universe Sandbox. Here is where I got it: http://e2-productions.com/repository/index.php

That's nice. Hopefully Dan will make new models in future updates.

It was a blender model (.blend). I opened it with blender and exported it as a DirectX model (.x). There is a lot of plugins for blender supporting import/export of different formats.

How do you add it in-game? I placed the .x file into media but its not showing up in any of the objects tabs. Am I missing something here?

I have the steam version if it makes any difference

EDIT: Sorry, did some looking around and found you just change the model in a planets properties.

That's how it should work. But haven't had the time to make it work that way yet. :)
