Auto Orbit not co-operating
« on: December 12, 2010, 01:40:19 PM »
For the selection of auto orbit, below it (like in the fire object), can there be a check box saying "lock in plane"?

I'm not following exactly what you mean.

1 How is Auto Orbit not co-operating?
2 What would be the purpose of the 'lock in plane' checkbox?

(I ask this knowing that there are serious problem with this feature as it's currently implemented.)

I don't really know. The circular auto-orbit places the planet in front of you, sometimes, instead of on the plane.

The purpose would make sure that it'd lock in plane. The circular auto-orbit feature would just place it infront of oyu (like it does sometimes)

Also, make the orbit all/parent feature able for one object instead of having to use the box select tool.

That sounds like a bug. I'll likely be addressing this in the next release in January.

Also, make the orbit all/parent feature able for one object instead of having to use the box select tool.

If you select a body you can click on the "Auto Orbit" button. Doesn't that do what you want?

Also, you can press Ctrl+A to select everything instead of using the box select tool.
