Whats the red orb though? I don't think I've seen that object before, maybe its currency?

According to the wiki it is currency and it could be made from redstone dust. Also, inb4 Bla goes 'eew, capitalism!'.

Also, the upcoming features list says that villages could now spawn in jungles, among other biomes. A village in a jungle now would be aweome in itself, although I can see issues arising with the density of the jungles. Treetop villages maybe?

While blacraft might not be big enough for large biomes, I wonder if it would be possible for Bla to set them as being able to appear? I'm just wondering out of curiosity, and if it were possible, it would definetly be cool to do.

Yes, just change the worldtype in the servers file from DEFAULT into LARGEBIOMES

Also, it appears we can mine the currency, you may need to look closely to the centre-right of the second image.

Eww, capitalism!

Idk how to change the world type, but I'm not sure I'd want to either... I do like the idea of bigger biomes because it seems more realistic, but I don't think it's a very good idea on Blacraft because we are so many people, and I guess people want to have some varied areas to build in instead of having their region be in the center of a gigantic snowy wasteland.

The one with the black border? That looks like the top of a furnace to me. Otherwise the only blocks I'm seeing are wood and stone.

Easy enough to put it up for a vote.

I'm pretty sure most people who would be voting would be people who already have regions, so it wouldn't really affect them that much.

Derp at me for not scrolling the window over. Kind of sucks for those with regions that already exist.

Anyways, I have a question in general, I read last night that the villagers will attack you if you raid the chest in the town. So, I had a thought, if you settle them in an area that you have built with your own chests for stuff and you access those chests, will they attack? I don't think they will because player placed chests probably don't count, but its a good question.

I doubt it, since there's codes for playerplaced blocks and natural blocks.

Still an interesting question though, and I agree in that I doubt it as well since the ones in villages are placed during worldgen.

Also, they need to add fisherman/woman testificates IMO.

Notch said the testificates were genderless, I think.

I just think the priest/church is completely stupid and out of place. A fisherman would be fine instead of that. I don't see why on Earth there should be churches or priests in Minecraft.

Yea, what is suppoused to be the church looked like some sort of tower or minifort to me initially until I saw a screenshot referring it as a church.

We can blow up/demolish any churches that do spawn in villages.

Although, it's possible that the churches may have some kind of function later on, possibly in adventure mode.

I thought it was a watchtower.

Or maybe a guard tower, despite the obvious lack of any military testificates.

Well yes, it could've been another building, but I think the developers referred to it as churches/priests. Anyway yes, I think we should just destroy them on Blacraft.

Holykol. Well this will make our cargo rails obsolete if we just have two people to load and unload stuff on the ender chests (in Blacraft). :P

Also looks like there's going to be emerald ore... That means I'll probably have to crop a lot of the map or run some generation algorithm to add emerald to Blacraft, or add it manually (which would be.... Meh).

Cool. I don't think it will make cargo rails totally obsolete, they would still be useful for shorter distances.

However, it would definetly be useful for very long distance cargo.

For the emerald ore, well, lets see what we can do about it when the time comes to deal with it.

A suggestion to bla.

Well, you could, where people want, to slice off the area below level 50 and replace it with generated terrain instead.

But I can't partially generate chunks, and that would make caves a mess to navigate in, the upper parts at least. :P
I think it'd be easier to find some script which can replace some blocks underground with emerald or something like that, or in the worst case make some deposits manually. :I
