yay

super-earth, from a Uranus inside Earth's orbit.

Edit: lol for split-typing (it said "with from")

It won't let me do anything.

Exactly... It wasn't meant to let you do anything. Only I can change it. I use it to make the RV data. You can see it, but not change it.

Fictional system btw

RV data: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AgTvxKfJlBKWdFFZSVRMSGNmeTFFWXdkellxSzFrb1E&hl=en&authkey=CNCm9fYB

Did you step through the simulation and record the velocity at each day by hand?

yup... takes a bit. A function could be of use.

No promises on when, but I plan to add a way to output data like this automatically.

How would you expect and/or want it to work?

What data would you like to be able to capture?

I would like some function where you choose what object you want velocity data from, and then be able to choose every when (timestep) you want it to be taken.

in a close binary system... I caught a near-full disk opposition.

It'd be interesting to have a "telescope" object, where you could record the light of a star, to get transit data.

Also, I'd still like "Landing" to be able to zoom into the sky so that you could zoom in on an object while still attached to the surface of that planet.

This would be an awesome feature.

I support both ideas, they are really cool

It would be nice if we could record the camera position as we move through a system (to make a replayable movie)

This brings to mind in class we do tableaus sometimes (a frozen scene), then people could walk through it and ask the people who they were and what they are doing.
