Maybe... Probably 1987-1992.

It probably would've been quite a revolutionary program, rather like the original Simcity was. Only with astronomy simulation.    ;D
But that generally looks like a pretty good representation!

I love the concept. Awesome.

Computers were much slower in 1981.  Simulating just 5 planets was almost more than they could take. :)

We had an Intellivision which was released in 1979. So 1981 totally works.
