Bug with density
« on: January 12, 2018, 07:18:55 PM »
Hi.

When making a star the density does not match up with its mass and radius. This applies to all types of stars (neutron/pulsars, white dwarfs, red dwarfs, normal stars). I'm not sure if this is a problem for everyone or just me?

I suppose I should add a picture of the star at a different size too.

After turning Jupiter into a star I realized that the problem only occurs if you give an asteroid a bunch of hydrogen until it becomes a star. The game probably can't handle the sheer increase in size that instantly occurs when all the hydrogen comes into contact with the tiny little asteroid.

Actually I am wrong, any random object will have density problems, but objects like jupiter don't.

Further investigation has revealed that even jupiter has problems, this may effect all stars or all stars formed from non-star objects.
