It isn't. Creationism is based on religion, not science. :)

This level of accuracy is recent. When I was a kid I remember my Dad telling me that the Universe was estimated to be somewhere between 10-20 billion years. Science is amazing.

Dan, actually, I read in the Astronomy that something like "20 years ago, we thought it was 7-20 billion years old". Or something... idk

I don't think so, both are professional (that's a hard word to spell, so I let it slide, but now you know.)
