my standard complement includes

adblock plus
https everywhere
zen mate (free proxy)
linkclump (a fancy link opening tool)
new tab redirect (because i don't want google's)
tex the world (for latex)
bookmark search (self explanatory)

GOM (to circumvent the government blocks in case they effected me (They don't seem to have))

Stylish
Tampermonkey

literally no idea what i use the last two for but I definitely installed them myself

I think Stylish was for the forum layout that that one guy made?

Tampermonkey I think is for something that is currently working but I'm not sure what.

cool, I had never heard of a lot of these plugins, a lot of these will make my life easier. I personally dont use chrome because of privacy reasons (dont want google to have all my information.) I use firefox and use 2 plugins: adblock and betterprivacy.
