How did you do this in version 1?

Ummm... You would select an object, open the right-click menu, and click something like "Center object" or something. It was with make comet tail and explode, i think, as in in that section of menu.

Select a body and press the "Auto Orbit" button. This is the same command as the "Orbit Parent" command in version 1.

My mistake...

The control is at the bottom of the View control panel on the left side.

Select a body and then click on the small plus sign ( + ) in the "Absolute Space" text box.
