I can recommend using a calendarvince, that must be more convenient than making forums posts? :P

I think spreadsheets are useful for it, this has served me well since August 2010.

Result: Very effective

I also used a notebook for homework reminders in school, also works fine.

Have you tried plastering your door and walls and stuff over with notes reminding you to check your calendarvince/notebook/etc. and changing your desktop wallpaper to a remindarvince to check it and then use it? I imagine if you keep checking it once you get home or something like that, you'd get used to it and it'd become a habit eventually
