Better as in... Which do I prefer?

I like visual art because I can see it and usually understand it, or get whatever benefit it was purposed for, relatively easily.

Literature takes a lot of time to read (in the case of a novel), or comprehend (poetry). In comparison, a movie is fairly literal, but still provides an equivalent experience of a fantasy world which tells a story for some reason.

I have a leaning towards visual because that's what i do. But literary gives more freedom to the reader.
