the only time people care about astronomy is when they hear about a multi-septillion dollar (approximating) diamond in the size of Earth. this white dwarf is said to be the coolest one ever found, cooling and crystallizing its carbon atoms in temperatures less than 3000 Kelvin.

maybe Kanye can buy this for Kim as an anniversary present.

No, neutron star are about 10-20 km, not 6000 km !

Well i read a book where an island had a diamond cave, and the dicoverers kept it a secret beucase if that much diamond was let lose in the world the supply would go down. 21 ballons is the book

If you discover a lot of easily accessible diamond and put it on a market, the supply goes up, but the demand doesn't change. That means prices should go down.
It is possible that the lower prices will trigger a slightly higher demand that would increase the prices slightly again.

Tl;dr: Lots of diamonds -> higher supply, same demand -> lower diamond prices
