Air to breathe in isn't needed. Look at fish for example.
Just the right temperature, in the habitable zone and circular orbit is much the same.
Jupiter isn't needed, but a heavy gravity source with some distance to the planet would be useful. It doesn't have to be at that distance, and doesn't have to be there at all though... I think.
Remember, if life evolves, it will adapt to it's environment, like our own did. Life can also be very simple.
