We have hurricane Rick, second strongest storm in East pacific ever!

WINDS REACHED 180MPH!!!

Northern Hemisphere (NHEM)
ATL - Atlantic (AL)/AHS (Atlantic hurricane season)
EPAC - East Pacific (EP)/PHS (Pacific hurricane season)
CPAC - Central Pacific (CP) - generally considered part of the EPAC
WPAC - West Pacific (WP)/PTS (Pacific typhoon season)
NIO - North Indian (IO) - ARB (Arabian Sea), BOB (Bay of Bengal) used for depressions

Southern Hemisphere (SHEM)
SWIO - South-West Indian
AUS - Australian region
SPAC - South Pacific (SP)
SATL - South Atlantic

Remember, he lives in Phillipifornia. So we never know.  ::) :P

If it goes the way Melor did, you could get wind and rain from it next week. I don't know when Phillipifornia will get rain  ::), but I doubt it will go around, it will probably go Parma or Ketsana's way.

I said Melor's remnants made it to California. Weather Channel had coverage on it. Yes it happened. No, I live close. Arizona.

What about the future season, 2010 Atlantic hurricane season or a South Atlantic season will be 2009-10 South Atlantic cyclone (or hurricane) Season.
