Planetarium Integration?
« on: December 20, 2012, 03:30:02 PM »
Hi All,
I'm an assistant at a planetarium and a huge fan of this software for my personal use. I was just wondering if there would be any way to use this program in a digital projection dome environment or if there are any future plans to add that kind of integration. If not does anyone have any kind of suggestions for how to format it so it wouldn't get distorted in circular shape?

This is something I'd like to do, but at the moment all of our effort is in creating the core feature set for version 3, so features that have limited mass appeal but would be very cool (like dome style projection) will have to wait.

This is the software solution we may use (at it integrates with Unity, the engine we're using for Universe Sandbox 3):

I know that Universe Sandbox is used in at least one planetarium by just projecting it on one side of the dome.
