How to use custom textures?

Hi,

I downloaded FiahOwl's custom textures, and am struggling to see how to use them.

I have put them into the Universe Sandbox Media folder, but when I 'browse' for custom textures in Universe Sandbox, no files come up.

So how exactly can you use the custom textures?

you don't browse, you type in the exact name of the picture/texture.

Ok, so for example, I could type in fiahtexta1.jpg ?

yes thats how; just tested it out and it works fine.

I type 'fiahtexta1.jpg' into the 'Texture' space, hit enter, and nothing happens...?

You have to type it exact spelling. If you're having problems spelling it, just rename the file. Also, you don't have to put .jpg, just put the name of the file in.

Nope, still nothing.

I typed it in exactly, without the jpg, and nothing happens...

Try clicking the random button and see if anything happens. Or try some other media file in there.

Also, the filepath that the images should be in is C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Universe Sandbox\Media , it won't work if the image is in some other folder.
