I took the layers from CUSFM, coastline and the latitude/longitude grid, then placed lows and highs in appropriate locations. In summer, away from the jet stream (blue) and ITCZ (red), the highs generally go over water and the lows generally go over land. Wind will flow from the highs towards the lows, and if it travels over tall mountains or lakes, it will pick up moisture. I add lows across the jet stream and across the ITCZ, the ones on the ITCZ are messy waves and the ones along the jet stream are neatly defined pressure systems, generally in this shape:

with rain all along all three fronts usually.

The massive area of rain over Sagua and further east of that is due to the ITCZ, which on Earth, is where thunderstorms form nearly every day, causing rain to fall across its entire length. It moves from winter to summer, going south in the winter and north in the summer, from the Northern Hemisphere's perspective, the same with both jet streams, in both the northern and southern hemispheres.

Image wise, it has three layers with the background, the pressure systems, and the precipitation, and the precipitation layer is slightly translucent.

cutting the kaeshar pie

Stop that! >:(

Although, isn't that area actually one of shmoopys things? Pretoria or something.

Edit: Yep, that's Shmupland and Peoria, so you're carving up the Shmupland/Peoria pie, and a little bit of the far eastern coast for Kaeshar, but Kaeshar would still be on the other side of the mountains.

Not dead dead, but yes she hasn't been around.

Also, I looked WAAAY back at http://universesandbox.com/forum/index.php/topic,7618.msg109899.html#msg109899 and the Kaeshar border does go south along that eastern coast a bit, about a third into your claim area, but meh, that was before we did elevation and it makes more sense to go along geography.
