This game is exactly like the board game
Othello/Reversi except that:
1. This board is larger.
2. The starting position is off-center because I can't think ahead.
3. There are more than 2 players (I don't expect 8 players but they are there)
4. On the first turn, you cannot choose to place a new piece diagonally.
Feel free to change the color of the two pieces you choose.
So to start, place a "piece" (fill in a grid space) with your color so that it is:
a) bordering at least one piece that is not yours
b) vertical or horizontal from a piece that is yours
Change all pieces in between your two pieces so that they are your color.
For all subsequent rounds, you may place pieces diagonally. (Because on the first turn you would otherwise be able to completely wipe someone out of the game)
The game ends when no one can make a move, and if you cannot make a move, your turn is skipped and you must wait for the next turn. Once the game is over, the amount of your pieces on the board are tallied up.
I'll let someone go before me.
