Blanaxon, Vikasa, Protopolis, Faehrenfall. This is another reason why I make my case Universalis is actually set in the 2020's-2030's!
I don't have anything against it being set in the 2020-2030. It might be a good choice to counteract the fact that we probably all have high ambitions for our countries that lead many of them to be somewhat more advanced than Earth's most developed countries.

Anyway, I wanted to suggest multiplying the top 4 city pops by 0.8. (wrote top 5 on the top page just ignore that)
Additionally I think the next few should probably get reduced a bit manually.

I'm open to reducing Blanaxon and not have it be the largest city. But I'd also like to see Fiah and Swonx comment on what mechanics led Vikasa, Faehrenfall, (Senelille and Akarine) to have such big populations. Protopolis too would be nice to see some comments on.
Do you think it makes sense for Blanaxon to be bigger or smaller than those cities for the reasons I gave? Is there an order you think seems most realistic? That might make it easier to choose the sizes rather than writing the numbers more or less independently of each other.

When I decided the GDP of Blaland and Redbow I wasn't sure of the values. I'm definitely open to decreasing it by 10%.

But I feel like people on irc were very aggressive about changing it. I don't think this is fair when it's not even mentioned what kind of GDP the table is measuring. I assumed nominal but using real or ppp can easily change it by a factor 0.5. Secondly there's not even a currency unit listed, but I guess we all meant USD even though no such thing exists in Universalis. If the world is set 20 years in the future an average 2% growth per year can also easily give a factor 1.5 increase to GDP. My GDP value was a number I came up with, not necessarily supposed to be a final value, and I'm not considering making it higher per capita than I made it. It's rough because it's a fictive world and I have a completely different history and system than Earth copy countries and even the definitions of when the story takes place and what the table even measures is ROUGH.

I don't care if you adjust your GDP per capita to be 1000 whatever unit above mine, I don't actually want to have the highest per capita GDP. I think something like Aahrus should have that. Saying GDP is a bad measure in general isn't an argument for this one country to change its value, but if anything to delete all the GDP values from the wiki. Standard of living and other factors are more important to me than GDP. And beginning to argue we're using ppp or whatever and not nominal so I but nobody else should change the values gives me the impression you're just trying to find an excuse to lower my gdp because you have some strong feelings about it. If we used ppp I wonder how the other values in the table would stand up to your own arguments.

I would probably have just decreased it by 10% if I got the impression people weren't so competitive and angered by it but I don't really feel like it now so that'll have to wait for another day maybe.

I think there are empty spots in Himalia, but I'm not sure if people would agree with it being a colony from a space empire? I think it would affect history, technology and all that too much and that it would be better if you could found a 'regular' country

Emblems and flags should be fine, but I'm not sure about it being a colony from space that brings another space empire into the story. I personally think it would be best if it formed like the others on the planet from the civilizations that were there already, but Idk if the rest agree.

Here goes (btw this is a different thing than the space empire)
This nation, known as Lordisdalarca (kol the weird pronunciation lel) developed as part of a native group, however after many civil wars they decided to unify and form one nation. They are a nice and welcoming people, allowing visitors and merchants into the nation. However, just because they were part of a native group doesn't mean they are primitive.
One day, the nation's best psychics saw images of an emblem and a flag, and decided those were tied to something big. they decided to adopt the emblem and flag as theirs.
However, they have developed with similar governmental techniques as , and what is that? Freedom, combined with democracy with honest and smart politicians who are fired if corruption is found. We have adopted communism as well, meaning that everybody should be happy. The police forces are honest and the military is kept on alert. If you need any more info, ask.
BTW its fine if you dont want me on the map. I understand from your perspectives  ;)
