Help with Black Holes?
« on: March 15, 2012, 05:41:40 PM »
Hello,

why is it, that a light pulse entering the Schwarzschild radius can get out again?? Also the light looks like it is breaking up into pieces. I thought it did that because of the black hole, but i can put the light anywhere and it breaks up??

The light is simulated as dust particles which don't get affected by gravity or solid objects, as far as I know.

Sorry I used to thought light was photons? They act simultaneously as a particle and wave??

They are, it's just the way that they are simulated in UBox atm.
