Staying on topic here, This looks really cool.
I also think electronic cars sounds like an at least cooler idea for racing, better than the oil fuel-based racing. Electronic cars have the potential to make us independent of fossil fuels (if we also do that when generating electricity), which is a good thing, so let's work on developing those technologies.

oh kol I thought this thread looked shorter.
People will no doubt complain that they don't make noise. Maybe they should have something to simulate the noise.

they actually simulate the noise when in the pits for safety i guess

but the website mentions a benefit of less noise is better track commentary

I'm not sure about a lot less noise, would be pretty awkward to be standing in the rows watching super silent automobiles having a runaround.

Maybe they should invest in using these engines for stealth'n'stuff (military, commercial)

In any case the cars are still bound to make some noise as they pass through the air and from tyre friction.
But I do like the sound of cars on Le Mans, I like them more than the commentary. Just get rid of the commentary and let me hear the car engines. :P
