Can't load custom textures

I have downloaded a few textures that people provided on the forum, but US seems to be having troubles applying them in the game. When I go to the folder to load a new texture, the picture always comes up in the Windows Photo Gallery instead of loading onto the model. If I right click on the icon, it only really gives me the option to preview it, not to open it.

The way to set textures is admittedly odd right now.

You need to put the textures you want to use in the correct folder and then manually type the name of the file into the texture box in Universe Sandbox.

This will be improved in a future release.
