maybe this is wishful thinking, but i always imagined that nasa scientists might use this to plot the route of their spaceraft

Seeing how US2 is pretty crazy with its physics, it's probably not that likely. I'm not saying that it's impossible, though.

they set the particle multiplier up too high and the asteroid belt exploded their ship =/
