the McMurdo Dry Valleys of Antarctica haven't been touched by any rain for over 2 million years, any precipitation is whipped away by 320 kmph winds that sweep across the valleys. There is moisture from glacial melting and groundwater, however. The most saline lake is also located here, over twice as salty as the dead seas
