In Universe Sandbox version 2 stars will shine.

This screenshot is from the upcoming release of Universe Sandbox 2, to be release in early 2010.  These are the nearest 50 stars to our Sun arranged on a Hertzsprung-Russell diagram, plotting stars by color (temperature) vs luminosity (brightness).
